CATV Network Upgrade, Testing, and Certification  Management

The services listed below are can be delivered on an a-la-carte basis, or as part of a full certification program. 

Service List

Analyze an overall node for ingress, CPD, Laser clipping, or other problems.  A short peak hold can allow the system to rank nodes according to severity of problems, and adjust budget accordingly

Initial Ingress Testing

By injecting a 16QAM signal at various end-of-line locations, level problems and ingress can both be analyzed prior to mitigation or sweep.  If a node appears ‘clean’, final digital testing can be performed at the same time, from each EOL.

Initial Digital Testing

With an analog signal injected at various end of line locations, this test, with peak hold, is used as a QC check of ingress mitigation.

Final Ingress Testing

With 16QAM signal injected at EOL locations, a full node health report is created with MER, BER (pre-FEC), BER (post-FEC), Group delay, frequency response, Signal-to-noise, and signal-to-ingress, over time.

Final Digital Testing
